1. Who we are
This website is operated by Shandong Keyuan Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"). We are registered at No. 1096 Wenshui North Road, Anqiu, Weifang, Shandong, China. For any questions about this policy, contact us via the methods in Section 11.
2. Information we collect
We only collect information you actively submit, plus minimal access logs:
- Inquiry form data: name, company name, email, phone number, message content, and (optional) product of interest, submitted via the Contact page.
- Server logs: when you visit the site, our server automatically records your IP address, browser type, visited URL, and timestamp. This is standard for nearly all websites, used for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookies: we do not use tracking cookies. We use only an essential session cookie to show one-time form submission confirmations, which expires when you close your browser.
We do not collect your ID number, payment information, biometric data, or other sensitive personal information.
3. How we use this information
- Responding to your product inquiry, technical question, or business request
- Sending product materials, quotations, or samples you have requested
- Maintaining site security and preventing abuse
- Complying with applicable Chinese laws and regulations
We will not use your information for any purpose beyond the above, nor send you unsolicited marketing emails.
4. Where your data is stored
The website and inquiry data are hosted on Alibaba Cloud's China mainland data centers (East China 1, Hangzhou), in compliance with the Data Security Law and Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL).
5. Sharing with third parties
We only share your personal information with third parties in the following cases:
- Email delivery provider Resend Inc. (USA): to forward your inquiry to our sales mailbox (jiaohaofeng@shandongkeyuan.com), we use Resend's email API. This involves cross-border transfer of your name, email, phone, and message to a US-based service provider. Resend uses this data solely for email delivery. We are evaluating migration to a domestic provider (Aliyun DirectMail) to eliminate cross-border transfer.
- Alibaba Cloud: as our infrastructure provider, Alibaba Cloud may have incidental access to encrypted-at-rest data during routine maintenance. Alibaba Cloud does not actively access or use your information.
- Legal requirement: when validly required by Chinese government authorities or judicial bodies, we will disclose the minimum necessary information as required by law.
Beyond the above, we never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
6. Data retention
- Inquiry records: retained for 2 years from submission, to support follow-up and business relationships. Auto-archived or deleted after 2 years.
- Server logs: rotated and overwritten after 30 days.
- If you actively request deletion, we will process the request within 7 business days.
7. Your rights
Under China's PIPL, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to be informed: to know how we collect and use your information (this policy fulfills that obligation)
- Right to access: obtain a copy of the information we hold about you
- Right to correct: correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Right to delete: request deletion of your information when statutorily applicable
- Right to withdraw consent: withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing
- Right to complain: you may file a complaint with the Cyberspace Administration of China or its local branches
To exercise these rights, email jiaohaofeng@shandongkeyuan.com with subject "Personal Information Request". We will respond within 15 business days. To prevent fraudulent requests, we may ask you to verify your identity.
8. Children's data
This site targets business customers (B2B) and is not intended for children under 14. If you become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us for immediate deletion.
9. Data security
We protect your information with industry-standard measures: site-wide HTTPS, Aliyun security group restrictions, OS-level access controls, encrypted session keys, and regular snapshot backups. Please understand that no internet transmission is 100% secure; we commit to reasonable best effort but cannot be held liable for security issues on your own devices or network.
10. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes (e.g., expanded data collection or new purposes) will be announced via a notice at the top of the page or by email. The "Last updated" date is always shown at the top of this page.
